I've posted this before, but it might bear repeating.  Your PASSPORT is required for crossing the border by airplane, land or water .  The PASSPORT CARD is only good for border crossings by land or water.  Trust me on this - I speak from experience.

In her "Trail Tips" guide book, Yogi talks about a "Application to enter 
Canada via the PCT" on pg. 239, but I can't find where/how to get this 
little gem. In addition to that, a passport is needed, to get back into USA 
if nothing else, but what else needs be done prior to walking up the trail 
into Canada?
