[pct-l] Water shoes advice

I wear New Balance Minimus trail runners. My women's size 9.5 weigh 4 ounces per shoe. I love the aggressive dot pattern tread. Water drains immediately and the shoe dries quickly. The tongue is attached to the shoe body so laces up the shoe are unnecessary. I use a small piece of shoelace to snug the shoe to my ankle. NB Mins are my hiking shoe and are so comfortable that I don't need a camp shoe or water shoe.

I stopped wearing socks for day hikes and trail running. I am not sure that I would add them for a thru hike. My feet get dusty with or without socks. I haven't had blisters.
