[pct-l] Shoes? Large Toe Box fore-front

What are people hiking in these days?   I had used Montrail's for years,
but two size attempts on recent purchases did not feel promising.   I used
to like Montrails over-sized by one size because they had a nice large "toe
box" area.   I am prone to blisters on my toes and this space helped.
Their new models though (Bajada) did not seem anywhere close to the same in
space though.

Anyone have experience to share with roomy fore-foot areas?
