Remy just posted this on Face Book...

SOBO CONDITIONS REPORT FOR WASHINGTON SECTION J (Stevens -> Snoqulamie):
amazingly, the trail is almost completely snow free in this section. There are a few patches here and there, and some higher angle (but short) patches on the section between parks lakes and a little after ridge lake, but nothing too serious, and excellent boot pack. The Kendall catwalk is completely clear. Not too many blowdowns either. At the crossing of Lemah creek where the bridge is missing, there is a good log 30 feet downstream. Look for a little social path on the left before going down the embankment. Bad bugs around deep lake and some other areas at the moment. Absolutely gorgeous section-have fun!

David asked:

Anyone have/read any trail reports from the last week in Washington between
I-90 and Skykomish?  I'm wondering how the snow melt is coming along and
how passable the trail is.  I should be out there in a couple weeks.

Reply:  WTA is getting more and more trip reports as the hiking season gets underway.  Check them out.  Search "crest", "pacific", "PCT" and by the various place names and lake names along the way (e.g. "Spectacle", "Katwalk", "Deep Lake", "Cathedral", etc) to discover most of those that are applicable.
