Stringer,

It's definitely doable. Last year I made it to Muir Trail Ranch from Cottonwood Pass on a single supply of food in my Bearikade Expedition. It took me 8 days.

In 2005 I hiked the JMT and made from MTR to Whitney using that same BeariKade.

Don't wanna do that. Any of you out there go that distance with any problems with (lack of) food? Seems to me, I would have to carry close to 20 pounds of food, which could be another problem.
