[pct-l] FOOD--Between Whitney and Muir Trail Ranch

Whether going from Cottonwood or Whitney north to Muir Trail Ranch or vise versa (which I'll be doing JMT), there is no food cache in between that I know of, unless you go down into Independence.  Don't wanna do that.  Any of you out there go that distance with any problems with (lack of) food? Seems to me, I would have to carry close to 20 pounds of food, which could be another problem.
