[pct-l] Mountain Education's Snow Safety Courses 2013

Hi everyone,

With all this talk about a big snow year, is anyone from the SF Bay area
planning to attend one of the "Basic Snow Courses" in Desolation Wilderness
mentioned below? <Actually, something is wrong with their website this
morning... but hopefully they'll fix it shortly.)

I'd like to register for the April 5-7 course. I would love to connect with
others who might be carpooling either from here, or the Reno airport (I'm
not a big driver... and bicycling isn't feasible :)
I could actually pick a different weekend if that helps (but not April
12-14).

Thanks so much... I'll wait to fill out the application for a week or so.

the Continental Divide, or the John Muir Trails. As you may know, we do not
require any financial reimbursement (we are progressing toward a Non-Profit
Status) for our Courses and only want those who yearn for the high country
to be safe and have a lot of fun out there. We have been teaching Mountain
Safety, Avalanche Awareness, and Wilderness Medical Preparedness for 31
years!

in publishing our List of Courses for 2013, so thanks for you patience!

>We will be running six (6) Basic Snow Courses (BSC) and one (1) Advanced
Snow Course this winter. We will update our website to reflect soon. The
