I looking a replacing my older Mariposa Plus pack and I've been considering the new version of the Mariposa and also the ULA AirX.
I not sure if the extra weight of the AirX would be worth it's advertised comfort rating of 40 lbs vs the 35 lbs of the 2012 Mariposa.  Now granted I would rarely be carrying over 30 lbs in a pack except leaving a 6+ day resupply and 15+ miles before the next water supply and even then the extra weight would only be for a few hours.
What are your thoughts on the AirX vs the 2012 Mariposa?

Oh, I also usually carry my Weekender Bearike so that makes difference in the pack I use due to the extra wide diameter  ( 9 1/4") compared to other bear canisters.
