Hello!

I'm not sure how pervasive these products are, but after doing extensive
research on sleeping bags, I'm seriously considering purchasing the
Enlightened Equipment RevolutionX quilt as a replacement for my old
synthetic REI bag that doesn't seem to keep me warm anymore (it's 10
degrees, and I was recently freezing in 30 degrees, ugh).

I know there are a lot of quilt options on the market, but unfortunately I
can't spend over $250 (i.e zpacks), so this kind of fits my needs perfectly
in terms of price.

I'm a side sleeper (sometimes with the legs up in a fetal position) that
moves A LOT and have had major issues with mummy bags in the past. I get
tangled, the zipper ends up under me or over me, letting in cold air, and
the head section ends up being useless since it's never under my head
anyways. So, I'm thinking it's time I make the switch to a quilt and see if
this is one possible solution to getting a better nights sleep.

Questions I'm wondering about:

1. Does anyone use this bag? Or even a similar quilt system? I'm just
curious about experiences anyone might have with these.

2. I've always been kind of a weenie when it comes to sleeping bags (I
sleep VERY cold) and have avoided down because I have been paranoid about
it getting wet and then never drying (thus the fact that I've always used a
synthetic, but overly heavy bag). Is this an irrational fear? Or is there
something to be said about down vs. synthetic when wet?

Thanks!!!

Lindsey
