[pct-l] Deep Creek Detour

I know there are a few areas near Devils Hole (Halfmile's map C181) and the 
trail dips close to the stream. Problem is there is a jeep track down to the 
stream as well and the rangers pay visits from time to time.

Subject: [pct-l] Deep Creek Detour

Does anyone know if the Deep Creek detour was lifted?  I was hoping to hike 
through there tomorrow and the next with a novice backpacking friend of mine.  
Also curious about places to camp in the 16 mile stretch between the first Deep 
Creek bridge and the Mojave Spillway (near Hesperia).  I hiked thru there in 
2011 and I think there are a few places to camp but I think camping at Deep 
Creek Springs in against the law???  Thanks ...
