[pct-l] Connectivity on the trail & Solar Chargers

Hi all,
I have a question for you all about staying connected while on the trail, my planning has my electronics situation as :a samsung galaxy s which will be my principal blog/music/book/camera device while on the trail, i plan on uploading my blog whenever i'm in a trailtown and have wifi.A small cheapy non smart phone,And a solar charger to keep them both up and running.I'll probably keep the actual chargers in my bounce box in case i need to charge them properly every once in a while.
I've been reading Wired's blog (which is epic by the way) over the last few days and see how sheused her smartphone to upload her blog on a much more regular basis than I had planned, it seems like she was able to do it on an almost daily basis in places!
My question is this : Is it possible to connect my new shiny min tablet to a phone and use the phone/tablet combo to upload my blog?As I said I had planned on writing a blog offline and then uploading it every few days when i get wifi connection, but now i'm wondering if I can do it more frequently.
On a separate yet related note, what solar chargers would you all recommend?
