[pct-l] Camera - to bring or not to bring...?

In 2010 I had my iPhone for macro and video shots, a point & shoot for daytime telephoto or zoom, and a mirror-less digital camera with a fixed lens for low-light and portraits.

It was a lot of gear, but looking back.. the pictures are worth their weight in gold--especially the candid scenes and portraits that capture life and hikers on the trail, but I didn't really let the photography interrupt my hike. I didn't wait around for shots or take 50 to get the right framing. My approach was to make the cameras accessible on a waist pack so I could pull them out quickly without disrupting the hike.
