[pct-l] Sleeping bag

I recently started doing the same thing. One of my friends recently
finished an 11 month trek of the length of south america starting in
Patagonia, and everyone in her group used a 40 degree bag. They paired it
with Montbell down pants for the higher, colder areas and then sent the
pants home when they were going to be in warmer areas for long periods of
time. So, when I replaced my old 10 degree bag recently I opted to go for a
30 degree bag instead and am going to invest in some warmer layers. I think
it probably depends were you see yourself using it the most (though, sounds
like this is done in the PCT).
