Anthony, The Sawyer squeeze filter can be used as a gravity filter also. Here is a YouTube video of one way it can be done; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LZONRSPWN-0 I have the Sawyer and find it to be quicker and easier than the gravity flow by squeezing. Also it is rated for 1 million gallons and can be readily back flushed when needed.
