[pct-l] GPS - which one

Somewhat contrary to what James wrote, I urge you to look at what is 
available. Like most electronic gizmos the GPS generally get better, or at 
least more features, for less money. Staying within the same brand and 
series will probably mean less of a learning curve.

I have the Garmin eTrex 20 which I used on one short backpack this fall. 
Worked OK. Even with halfmile's excellent maps and waypoints I still rued 
that I forgot the WP guidebook pages. :-(
