[pct-l] Bee stings and Epi-Pens

I have never been stung by a bee so I don't know whether I am allergic or not.  After doing some research, I have read that "Unlike allergies such as asthma, there is not a clear pre-screened test for insect sting reactions if someone has never been stung before, although an allergist can conduct a skin test, which can show if the patient has a strong negative indication."
So I guess my question is, should I go ahead and get tested and still not be sure whether I could have a reaction or not, or should I err on the safe side and get an Epi-Pen just to be safe...or go F--- with some bees and find out on the cheap :D
