[pct-l] Bears vs Habituated Bears

My 2 cents: I solo hike and carry pepper spray for peace of mind. It is on
my shoulder strap next to my whistle. I have never felt compelled to use it
but reached for it when I was startled by a cougar leaping across the path
20 ft. ahead of me and my 9 year old son who was right in front of me.
