First off, thank you for your service.

About the only section I can think of that would be possible in the
Winter, is the border to the Pines to Palms Hwy, BUT you need to be
prepared to bail off Mt Laguna if the weather gets bad.

the next bit, over Mt San Jancito, then San Gorgonio and the Angeles
mountians probably will be snow covered, and quite dangerous.

There might be some sections of the Sierra Pelona and the Mojave
desert, Say Agua Dulce to the foothills of the Piutes. You might be
able to make it to Walker pass but a section of the Piutes is around
6000ft, with no easy way to bail out (unlike the Lagunas) so a storm
there would be grave.
