There can be many reasons for no-shows, which is why the commercial shuttles
will charge your credit card in advance. They get paid whether you show or
not. 

Be sure you know how long they will wait for you before you agree to the
deal. They are, after all, running a business.

FYI...the woman from HighSierraShuttle said more than 50% of the people
driving to meet the shuttle at a trail head don't show up. How
inconsiderate!
