In 2009 I arranged a ride from Reno Airport to the PCT at I-80 from a company called Eco-Taxi. It was a guy in a pickup truck that ran on Bio-diesel, even took me to Cabela's off I-80 so I could buy fuel. I'm sure you can contact them if you don't find another ride. They're based in Truckee.
