Trail Report:
The trail is overrun with poodledog brush between miles 419-430. *Overrun
being an understatement.* It's unavoidable and Rubs and Southern advise
avoiding it by all means. They recommend taking one of the side FS roads
at/around mile 419 and detouring around it. They say the heaviest
consentration is around mile 423 with waist to chest high deep poodledog
brush.

Dang, there was barely a trace of this stuff in 2007. Nonetheless, as the
saying goes, I'd rather be hiking!
