[pct-l] mailing fuel and bear spray

Is it possible to mail fuel canisters or is this a big no no? I was also
curious if people feel they need any kind of defense if they encounter a
bear i.e. bear spray? I live in MT and have never carried it my self but a
lot of people do and  I know there are quite a few bears in Yosemite. Im
just curious how people feel about it and if its necessary. Thanks a bunch!
