But, if you do that you miss the PCT. It is a beautiful climb up to Kangaroo Springs and Meadows. You can park at the base of the trail where it heads north from highway 96. Or, you can park right in Seiad Valley - just a short walk to the TH.

The easiest and best access is to drive to the town of Seiad Valley (on Hwy. 96 not far off of I-5) and take Seiad Valley Road right there beside the store/café, it takes you right up to Cook and Green Pass. You avoid the long climb this way.  easy drive of about 12 miles. Did it last year.
