[pct-l] Starting date NOBO from Ashland, Colorado

I attempted a thru hike last year but the weather and an injury delayed me along route so that I had to pull out in Ashland before I could complete the trail.

I am planning to return to complete the PCT from Ashland NOBO this year.

I would value advice regarding  would the earliest time be good to start  from Ashland to reach the Canadian border before the winter snow sets in.
I have been thinking along the lines of mid July.
