KTTape looks the same, but has wimpy adhesive; don't waste your money.

Get REAL Kinesio Tex Gold:

I had great luck for blister prevention with Leukotape:

It has NO stretch, is a little tricky to get on because of that, has low mass (thin), but very strong and very strong adhesive. Some people don't like the adhesive and my gal, Brrrito, got a rash from it. But while I tend to be more reactive to things like that, not me - huh. I could wear it for days on end and and even shower with it. Put it on when leaving town and swap on town days. I think four days was the most hiking I did on any one application, but it could have gone more.

From a supplier's website; Theoretically, KINESIO TEX® TAPE will lift the skin to increase the space between the skin and muscle. This reduced localized pressure help promote circulation, lymphatic drainage and lessens the irritation on the subcutaneous neural pain receptors. As an end result, the Kinesio® Taping Technique reduces pain, swelling and muscle spasm; and subsequently promotes the body’s natural healing processes. Additionally, the built-in stretch of the TAPE supports fatigued, weakened and/or strained muscles.
