[pct-l] Cost of thru hiking

Costs me $10,000 for 5.5 months of thru hiking.  I consider loss of pay a cost, with continued payments on all adult ties like mortgages, health insurance, utilities, etc. I  can save that much in 3 years to  hit the trail again.
