[pct-l] 2013 Thru Hike Clothing

hello all,

my name is mike and i'm planning a 2013 thru-hike and am having trouble
planning my clothing bag... i am thinking of getting smartwool midweight
thermal top and bottoms with the 6oz. montbell down jacket for warmth. any
thoughts? noting that i am a generally warm person, i wonder if the down
jacket will be too warm and rarely usable... not sure. lived on the
northern california coast my whole life with only several fair-weather
trips to the mountains...
