S/B very doable. My son did it in reverse a couple of years ago. Camped to the east of Banner Pk, above 1000 Is. Lake the 1st night (he was attempting Banner from the saddle between it and Ritter). Not sure what time he left the trailhead, which I think was on Hwy 158 by Silver Lake.
