[pct-l] Boot suggestions?

I know you are probably married to the idea of preparing everything
in advance, plus I have no idea how long a bag of Costco bacon bits
will last, but consider the idea of buying only enough bacon bits to
get to Tehachapi (I'm sure those shelf-stable bacon bits will last
the 6 weeks to get to Tehachapi.) Then in Tehachapi, buy enough bacon
bits (you may have to settle for Oscar Mayer) to get you to South
Lake Tahoe. Then in South Lake Tahoe, buy enough bacon bits to get
you to Chester. Then in Chester buy enough bacon bits to get you to
Ashland. Then in Ashland, buy enough bacon bits to finish the trail,
unless you want to do the roadwalk through Stephenson, then you can
probably find bacon bits in Stephenson. Or perhaps long before then
you'll be sick to death of bacon bits.
