[pct-l] Water at Coldwater Creek and Santiam Pass

Not sure about coldwater creek, but a trail angel had water - about 8
gallons right after crossing the hwy on the north side of Santiam Pass, and
there was another 5 gallons at the parking lot itself.  There was actually a
box of resupply things someone had left - food, (like in a hiker box at a
post office.)   But no faucet and no creek source.  Not sure if the water
cache is typical - we crossed in mid August.

On Halfmile's maps, Coldwater Creek at mile 1999.5 does not show any water
availability.  Can anyone confirm this?

Also, is there any water supply at the parking area at Santiam Pass?
