Good morning,

When hearing about all the “heavy-haulers” and gadgeters with extra gear to
prevent bad things from happening, I’m again reminded that gear alone
seldom helps:  It’s necessary to know, 1) how to avoid trouble, and 2) how
to actually use gear and other available resources.

There’s a line in a song:

"We have no knowledge and so we have 'stuff',

but 'stuff' with no knowledge is never enough…
