[I Discovered That By Going Out I Had Really Gone In]

I hitched down to Skykomish yesterday from the pass. I had last done this in '03, so the pedestrian overpass was a revelation. Yes, the bus stops on both sides of the summit highway at the pullout. You can find details about the schedule through the Amtrak site. It looks like the resort grill is open on weekends, or at least this one. Plenty of parking for section hikers.

I've only been up there once before and I assume you have to take the pedestrian bridge across the highway to access the trail, but I'm not sure if that's near the bus stop or not.
