Hello all! My very first email for the list! It's a nerdy thing to be
excited about that... Anyhow, myself and two friends are planning for a
thru hike next April, probably joining everyone at some sort of a kick-off
party that's 20 miles north of Campo? Is that right?

For the point of this email. I have two dogs who will need to be watched
for while I'm hiking. Only family option I have are my parents, and I'm not
sure they're up to it as I've asked them through emails about helping and
neither have responded! So what does everyone else do with pets who need
watched? No way I could afford to "board" them for 4-5 months, I live in FL
and my parents live in AR. I think anywhere between here, there and the PCT
start would be a fine place for them to stay if there was just someone or
some place that could care for them.

Thanks for all the help through the emails I've read so far, and for what
I'll learn from this list in the future.
