[pct-l] Northern Cascades Bear Safety Advice

Saw one bear in Stehekin minding his own business. Carried no bear box.
Slept with food in tent, no problem. Water was plentiful, I carried a water
filter and never used it. The water was so pristine, gushing and pure. The
only unreliable water source was at mile 2646. Fill water at the 2645 mile.
2646 does have a trickle. After that is a 10 mile section with no water.

Manning Park was difficult because of fallen trees and overgrown plants but
we ran into Canadian Rangers who were organizing the clean up for the next
day.

Lodge was full but Morgan at the front desk offered to take us to the camp
but the camp was full. So he stuffed us in the Hostel in a single. We were
so grateful. Nice kid!

Cascades were beautiful! Bus for Vancouver leaves at 11:10am
