Wild or store-bought, a fresh onion is a great way to spice up most
backpacking meals.  Most boil-and-stir meals can be easily improved
with some chopped onion as well as cold wraps such as a tuna/onion,
pepperoni/cheese/onion, hummus/onion, tabuli/onion, etc.
