Switchback replies: Say, I see you are still using the moniker "Lurker" like you did back in the old PCT days.  I seem to remember you being referred to as the Lurker back when John Muir and I use to climb trees in furious Sierra storms just to feel the rocking.  I remember John telling me that Lurker Reinhold bears watching.  

Anyway, I am not sure about your Record Breaking 2013 PCT Thru-Hike team member recommendations.  I know all these people and they are my pals.  I like them.  But they are getting a little weather worn and frayed around the edges.  I am sure the heart is willing, but the body, well lets just say it is not what it use to be.  The hike I am leading in 2013 is for the those who are in their prime.  It is for those who can push record breaking days.  It is for those who who can look Mother Nature in the eye and not blink.  It is for the elite men and women who laugh at danger.  And who laugh at hardship.  It is for those who say after a 40+ mile day, "Hey, why are we quitting so soon?  We can use our headlamps and get in another 10 miles."

I appreciate your expedition recommendations.  I know they were all honored to be recommended by you.  May be I should have an auxiliary list or associate 2013 expedition member list, so no one gets their feelings hurt.  Rejection is hard to take sometimes.
