Hi gang,
I want to clear up some confusion.
I have received several personal e-mails from list members questioning
whether I have substituted my revolutionary UL "GRAZING" Strategy for
my world famous UL "Chickens on a leash" strategy.
Absolutely not,...."Chickens on a leash" is a great UL method if you are
doing 20-40 miles per day, but you still have to cook the critters so you
need to carry a pot, stove and fuel and perhaps a bear canister.

Now, to do 380 miles a day you need to take UL to the extreme and not waste
time cooking.
You merely graze for a little while during your rest periods and not waste
time with cooking and cleaning and your pack is going to be sooooo light.

Besides, vegies are good for you.

380 MILES A DAY???....Piece of cake....Nothing to it....Just remember to
bring Switchback's hands free umbrella, solar powered fan, fuzzy pink camp
slippers and "DEHYDRATED WATER" to stay UL.

Ooohhh yes, you might also want to consider my UL, "grazing in the meadows",
strategy, which worked so well for me on my JMT speed hikes.
There are lots of meadows along the the trail.
This way you you won't need to carry a pot, stove, fuel or trail food.
And you won't need a bear canister.

The key to doing 380 miles a day is staying super "UL".

Word of caution....you might, however, have to carry a few nuts to get you
through the desert section.
