Has anybody made it past Redding yet?

This is third hand info.  Two hikers left Old Station and were hiking
north.  Don't know their destination.  They had stopped at the store at
MacArthur-Burney State Park.  It sounded like they were thru-hikers or
section hikers familiar with the PCT because they knew about last year's
cache at Highway 36.  Sorry the info is so sketchy.
