[pct-l] Late start advice

Some of the water resources still running are incredible. There's a small
creek that runs under a bridge just across the highway from Al Bahr Shrine
camp in the Lagunas. I was incredibly surprised that there's still water
trickling in that creek this morning. I wouldn't worry about water in the
"desert". More surprising was that the shrubs and trees in the upper
portions of the Lagunas were covered in a thick layer of ice. While some
flowers are already gone, the (literally) thousands of pictures I took this
weekend along the PCT in Section A & B can attest to the many flowers still
left and yet to come.

I believe that your success will largely be limited by how many miles you
can average per day to put you in Canada before the snow starts. Some areas
in the higher elevations of Socal will be easier and faster due to how
quickly the snow has been melting.
