[pct-l] Late start advice

There have been many people complete the hike while starting that late or later. But most of them are doing serious miles. I will be starting may 21st because any earlier would put me in the Sierra earlier than I want to be there. Nobody can say if it's realistic for you to start that late. You could be an ultramarathoner or a 100 lb overweight couch potato. 

But I suspect that you would move faster starting in may than your previous start date. Snow will slow you down less both on social and the Sierra and most folks starting that late will be moving faster helping you out if you find folks to hike with.
