[pct-l] Keeping in touch without a cellphone

I do know there is a pay phone in Manning Park near the lodge and
park. Next to the sign showing all the trails. I had no cellphone
service there and was happy to see a pay phone because I was supposed
to meet someone on the trail and never saw him and had no idea if he
was lost, in the hospital, blew me off or what! (He was on the trail
and we crossed paths without seeing each other -- doh!)
