Regarding the "wait time" when using Aqua Mira...If you carry a few
extra Aqua Mira bottle caps (that are used to mix parts A and B
together) then you can treat several liters of water at one time using
a single "mass-production" mixing technique, ie, if you need to treat
5 liters, then set out 5 caps and do them all at once. It doesn't take
much longer than the 5 minute minimum to do a single liter.
