Chlorine Dioxide is the active ingredient in Aquamira. Are you saying treat the 
water twice with chlorine dioxide?

I'll probably be hammered, but I recommend you consider chlorine dioxide tabs 
along with aqua mira.  Tabs take longer (30 min to 4 hours, depending on temp 
and turbidity) and are more expensive, but they're much more convenient and 
lighter.  You can get quantity discounts if you work at it. 




A bandana ( when necessary) and Aqua Mira should be adequate for killing the bad 
stuff.
