Andrew u need something that water REPELLENT not resistant! If you're talking
about hiking the trail, I wouldn't bother with a wind jacket. All you need is a
lite weight fleece and a vest or your jacket and a rain jacket (which is wind
AND water proof)

Subject: [pct-l] Wind jacket

Hey gang,

Any diehard wind jacket fans out there? I'm interested in the CAMP Magic
Jacket and want to know if anyone has any experience with it. Can't find
much online by way of reviews.

Also, any idea if this type of material would take a DWR coating well? I've
never applied DWR to a jacket before and want to figure out if it'll be easy
to make this wind shirt more water resistant.

4.0 oz. with a hood and full front zip and $36

Thanks!

Andrew
