Generally I would say only ship yourself stuff that you can't get in towns or
in hiker boxes. No oatmeal, couscous, pasta, trail bars...
Just Tomatoes brand veggies to add to meals, special treats from home, shelf
stable cream cheese, dried fruits (not raisins, but mango, pineapple etc - the
harder to find ones)...

Subject: [pct-l] foods you would never pack again
I intend to ship myself of my food for my thru hike. I know what sorts of
food I like, and that variety is key. But what foods were you absolutely
sick of by the end of your thru hike? I tend to be able to eat just about
anything at just about any time, but if there are some things that become
universally reviled, I will be more careful with those items. Thoughts?
