My package of Kingdom Pets Chicken Jerkey does not say they are irradiated.
Irradiation does not contain heavy metals because it is a type of
preservation method using something like microwaves that kill off the bacteria.
Since the product comes from China, there are probably lots of bacteria to be
killed. I would like it better if it were irradiated, especially when it
says "not for human consumption."

I was to try the chicken. But it says in fine print 'irradiated, not for
human consumption'

The dog loves them, and they look quite tasty ... Just dried chicken and
sometimes even dried duck... But the irradiation process leaves heavy
materials that the body does not dispel... They build up in the body over the
course of your life and are eventually toxic... Much like mercury
