[pct-l] Thru-Hiking On A Budget

That's an annual occurrence on the AT.  An organic farm somewhere in NY, near the Trail, seems to rely on thru-hikers for temp labor.  Also, several hostels/ resorts on the AT and PCT will let hikers work for stay, meals, or perhaps money.  E.g., Doug's hostel in Lone Pine, VVR, et al.
