Good morning, Guthrie,

Glaciers are rare in the Sierras so instead troublesome stream flows result
from annual snowpack -- meaning much more generalized. In the Cascades,
i.e. from Lassen north, most of the strato-volcanoes do have glaciers, the
melt from which does significantly set the pace of stream flow, particularly
after most of the general snowpack has melted.
