[pct-l] Tent on a PCT Hike Thru

Bring a tent. There are mosquitoes. You said "Sleep on the ground  
with the bugs and critters" so you probably won't be as blase about  
mosquitoes as some of these hard-core guys who can walk through  
snowmelt mosquito season in Oregon and smile while swatting rabid  
mosquitoes with a bandana. I presume they can sleep while swatting, too.
