For any of you out there who wanted to see the pictures of the lynx I took a
few days ago in the Kenai National Wildlife Refuge.  They're the lead pix
for this weeks Walk About Martinez Column.

I still can't believe it didn't just run off into the bush immediately.  I
since spoken to folks up here who have been hiking and guiding for 20 and
more years up here, and never seen more than a glimpse of one as it ran
away.  It was a lovely encounter.
